The sporting world
has exploded in recent years in terms of revenue. The number of live
sporting venues opening up around the globe is comparable to the number

stadiums is a booming business, even in a less-than-flush economy.
One of the newer
design projects has been the overhaul of
Nuremberg FC’s
Frankenstadion.
The Frankenstadion was redeveloped at a cost of €56m to increase the
capacity to around 40,000. The original Municipal Stadium was opened
back in 1928 and the new arena was opened in 1991.
Last year,
it hosted 3 matches during the Confederations Cup.
