Situated in the old East Germany, the Zentralstadion in Leipzig has been newly built for the tournament. Back in communist times, Leipzig used to boast a 100,000 capacity stadium but that is long gone.

The Zentralstadion cost just €90m to build and is home to VfB Leipzig.
