The newly refurbished Rhein Energie Stadion was opened 2 years ago after work costing €119 million was completed. There has been a sporting stadium at the site since the 1920s and the Rhein Energie Stadion replaced the Mungersdorfer Stadion.

The venue has a capacity of 45,000 and is home to Bundesliga side FC Koln. 5 matches will be held here (4 group and a second round game).
